What’s the fastest way to crush your marketing momentum?

Not having a plan for the next steps.

Think about this for a moment.

Your private practice has spent quite a bit of time on your marketing plan.

You’ve had all hands on deck and it’s paying off.

You’ve set a goal to get so many clients and everyone is doing their part.

Then you noticed that all of your hard work is paying off.

Everyone is in celebration mode and you can’t believe how well the marketing momentum has paid off.

Marketing Momentum Strategy

What you do next will make all the difference.

If you spend too much time in celebration mode, it can become easy to fall into complacency.

Maintaining marketing momentum requires strategy.

You’ll want to create a plan for the next goal that will scale you up and keep that marketing momentum going.

If you stop now, your success will leave quicker than it arrived.

Marketing Momentum Celebration

Now, I’m not saying that you should not celebrate your marketing momentum at all.

Celebrating your victories is really important and can give you the motivation to keep that momentum going.

It’s also really important to take some time to acknowledge the people who made this win possible.

What I’m saying is don’t live in this space for long.

If you have a plan in place, you can take that much needed moment to celebrate and then be ready to keep the ball rolling toward your next win.

Defining the Next Goal

Like many plans, they happen in steps or phases.

So if you set your first goal to include a specific number of clients, be ready to decide what the next phase of your growth should look like for you.

Is that taking on additional practitioners?

If so, how many additional clients will you need to justify that?

Do you want to get a larger office?

What is the revenue that will be required to make that happen?

Do you want wider exposure on social media? Or, do you want to take on some advertising?

What will it take to make that happen? More support staff? More money? A bigger marketing budget?

Regardless of what that next goal is, make sure you have a detailed plan in place that will get you there.

The goals that we have for ourselves and our practice are incredibly motivating.

We feel so proud when we achieve them.

But to live in that space for long can be dangerous to our continued growth.

Even if your goal is to maintain, you need to have a plan in place for the marketing momentum necessary to keep you there.

Planning your marketing efforts and the ability to measure and execute those steps will be a recipe for the success of your practice.
