If you’re writing marketing copy that utilizes the same old formula, you need to stop.

What worked for your practice before has come to a screeching halt in light of the pandemic.

These new formulas will capture the attention of your target market and draw them in.

Crisis Marketing Approach

As you know, we are right smack and dab in the middle of this pandemic.

So,we have to remember that the pain points that people had before this pandemic began are different now.

Crisis Marketing Tip

And so in order to have the most traction with our marketing efforts, we need to be able to meet people where they’re at.

Therefor, if you can talk about how you can help them with what they’re struggling with right now, then you’ll have the most impact and the most traction.

So you need a different set of messaging to be going out in your marketing efforts right now.

And that will include your website, your social media, your videos, your blogging, email marketing; all of the marketing that you’re pushing out there needs to reflect what people’s pain points are right now.

Pivot Your Messaging

Now that said, you’re going to need a different set of messaging to go into effect as the economy crawls out of recession.

In a few weeks or months from now, and that messaging is going to be different again.

So that messaging may sound a little bit like,

“we understand that you are doing everything that you can to control your resources and your time, your money, etc. And for that reason we are packaging our services a little bit different to include…”

This can include a discount, later hours or whatever is best for you and your ideal client to help them through the crisis.

So, the first set of messaging going our takes place now includes how you can help them and meet their current needs.

You are going to need a different set of messages that take place as the economy crawls out of recession.

That message will be empathetic to their needs then and focus on helping them stretch their resources.

This may include repackaging some of your services so that it focuses on that need.

Again, this needs to take place on your website, your social media, video, email marketing; all of the places that you are pushing your marketing messages out.

I want to caution you not to become complacent with what has worked for your practice in the past.

Those old marketing strategies will not perform well in light of crisis marketing strategies.
